Just done the solar FIT reading. That’s a record for our spring quarter and has beaten six out of twelve of our previous summer quarters. Think it’s officially been sunny

Good morning from a mostly cloudy but warm Suffolk. Coffee has been had ahead of another day away.
Due to train timings for the Peterborough connection, I normally have to get the 10:31 local train to Ipswich and wait there for an hour, but local Sunday departures are a few minutes earlier. Also there's no freight trains running causing potential delays, so I can get the later train (11:28) and still make the connection at Ipswich.

Octoplus cafe nero voucher claimed. Have a short noon then a long 1 o'clock meetings in Ripon tomorrow so hopefully it will get used in between.
Disaster doing a sudoku. Thats 6, flip no thats 6. Reached for the tippex pen and instead of the end cap coming off the main body parted with the contents landing on newish T shirt, new jeans and the newer sofa cover
A damp cloth then the application of acetone seemed to gave little impact so the sofa dismantled and the lot in the washer dosed with a shift anything (but probably not tippex) stain remover.

The tippex did not shift in the wash and it seems in trying to remove it I had snagged the sofa cover so that has gone in the bin.
Went into town to look for a blue jacket with big pockets. M&S had one but not the right size but then did find one with massive pockets in TK Maxx. Hefty downpour on the way back to the car.

Update on yesterday's fire st Dunelm Mills.. Pets @ Home is gone, too, plus the furniture store next to it!

Happily, the manager & staff got all the animals (rabbits, guinea pigs bugs etc) to safety. 😊

I don't know about the fish, though, as they have/had quite a large aquarium section ☹️

We went to the refurbished Vue last night and the smoke was wafting towards town centre from the bottom of Gold street.
