The June bank holiday is done and dusted for another year.

I did a sixty mile ride this morning, mostly on minor roads and very enjoyable. It did become really stormy on the return leg. In some ways, I did a reconnaissance ride for something I will be doing on Saturday. For once I let Google maps do it's thing and I found myself on roads I never knew existed, one was even unmetalled, and I barely saw a car all day.

I also had my usual Monday dance class tonight, so I think I have had adequate exercise for one day.

The weather is absolutely horrendous now, with wind and rain, and my umbrella and rain coat are dripping in the bath. If tomorrow morning looks like this, I might use a work from home day.

Bizarrely, I feel less tired after a 60 mile ride than I do after a day in work (office based).

Why do i bother. So i am on the bus coming home.At one stop two old ladies get off.As we move away,a passenger shouts they have left a shopping bag.i offer to get off and find them,it was easy they were older than me.But hey ho,it was not their bag.So i waited for the bus to return,it was a different bus,the driver would not take the bag.So i have it now.i have emailed FIRST BUS and put a message in the local FB page, next time there will not be a next time,i will look out of the window and whistle.
No good deed goes unpunished...

Phone saga continues.

Dodgy SIM card is now jammed in the phone and I can't get it out. It sometimes works, but not all the time. I've discovered resetting the phone makes it work again.

How did I discover this? Because the touch screen wasn't working, so in desperation I reset the phone, and it demanded a SIM code. Fortunately I'm used to this, so I have the SIM code in a safe and easily accessible place, all the time.

I am now writing phone numbers out by hand, so I still have access to the contacts when the phone dies with the SIM inside it, and the screen won't let me enter a PIN.

Again, I wonder why anyone keeps any remotely important information on their phone. I'll be keeping my rail and bank cards on nice safe pieces of plastic, thank you very much.
No tweezers you could use to pull the SIM card out with?

My work's sent out a security e-mail stating that they'll be running a series of dodgy e-mails to check whether we flag them correctly.

So I flagged the security e-mail as being dodgy ^_^

As a result the series of dodgy e-mails, presumably being sent from the same e-mail account, haven't arrived.

:okay:

The IT people did something similar at work a couple of years ago - virtually everybody flagged the original email as spam/fishing and reported it to the IT team.

It's been an occasionally sunny and not unpleasant day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well enough, but haven't felt that great. Been feeling run down, and have had a pounding headache for much of the day. The main culprits are screwy hormones and stress. Joy... NOT!

Anyways, other than taking the parental out to pick up her meds, I've not done very much of anything. Other than spending the day writing. Remains to be seen whether what I've written is total garbage or not.

I think I'm going to go and have a nice girly pamper session.
