Haircut done and, as I had the vacuum cleaner out to pick up the clippings, the rest of the house got a quick vacuuming. Also the filters have been changed in the water jugs.

The first rain band seems to have fizzled out and we only got a few drops of rain here. It's still way too windy for a bike ride, so I may go for a walk into town as I forgot to get some butter while shopping yesterday.

New phone ordered, new sim card ordered, local bank near work found so they can install the banking App as I've never managed to get it to work. Hopefully everything arrives before I have to go to the UK so I have a working phone. Otherwise I can't place an advert for a flat in the local paper for two weeks which is a long delay. (did I mention this is of course the worst possible time for my phone to break down?)

I think the German Police are leading this current search. As I understand it, the suspect is in a German prison for other offences, in the same part of Portugal. Are they trying to find evidence in order to charge the suspect, before he is released at the end of his current sentence?

Bond, Ernie Bond has given me £100. A useful sum, which will go towards the extra help I need currently.

In other news, I have received a "Blue Badge". Our overseas correspondents may like to know that this means I will get free parking in a Blue Badge parking bay.

I do not envisage using it very often, but in an emergency, it will help. These parking bays are usually close to entrances of hospitals,

Well, everything I've seen seems to say the same thing, use a pair of tweezers(fine plastic to avoid shorting the terminals), to remove the card.
Tray came out complete, in one piece?

It's now spitting and leaving diagonal backslash splashes on the window pane. I gather it's raining a little more heavily a couple of miles west over at the Oval where West Indies are playing the final one-day international. Or were playing because it's now rain stopped play. This is after a period of traffic stopped play, because the Windies arrived late at the ground.

Squirrel baffel installed on the pole, ended up using some of my own thicker longer cable ties on it. The thin short ones supplied were just too fiddly.
