Better quit while I'm ahead, so time to put the art stuff away.

This drawing is really pushing the boundaries of my draughtsmanship due to the view and perspective - the photo I'm working from was taken by a tall bloke with a wide angle (probably 20mm) lens, so everything is distorted. Some subtly, some less so. Ergo if a line or bit of shading is just a fraction out, it looks totally wrong. It's too easy to make mistakes, so this is best worked in small doses and while the mind and eyes are fresh.

Bond, Ernie Bond has given me £100. A useful sum, which will go towards the extra help I need currently.

There could be some left over to lend to Kiva.

In other news, I have received a "Blue Badge". Our overseas correspondents may like to know that this means I will get free parking in a Blue Badge parking bay.

I do not envisage using it very often, but in an emergency, it will help. These parking bays are usually close to entrances of hospitals,

Here, we have a tag which hangs from the rearview mirror. Blue for permanent, red for temporary.

Yer a braver man than me, trusting yer money to a phone.

I keep it to a minimum. Most things can be handled with Paypal and I refuse to do the "put your card on a phone" thing: I've seen enough customers unable to pay for something because their phone won't connect/died.

Very occasionally (and this may be a German thing) I need to pay for something with a direct transfer. I can do that on my laptop, but I have to confirm the payment to the bank via a phone app.

Well, everything I've seen seems to say the same thing, use a pair of tweezers(fine plastic to avoid shorting the terminals), to remove the card.
Tray came out complete, in one piece?

I can't even see the card, even under a magnifying lamp, and my finest tweezers don't fit. I used a needle fine scoring tool to see if I could find anything, but nothing wanted to move.
