I started watching the 2019 film Midway and switched off. I thought I would look at the reviews to see what they thought. IMBD gave it good reviews! IMBD must mean I'm dead and buried as in no way could a person breathing say that it was good. Laughable ! Yes. Bland ! Yes. Andy Pandy was more believable. The original films Pearl Harbour and Midway were much better. It seems as though the Guardian gave an honest review of the film.

Early night as I'm marshalling my first road race tomorrow, after May's marshalling was cancelled. It's between Wakefield and Barnsley with a number of riders I know.

Now making red orange marmalade.

Marmalade made.

Softer set than usual, as red oranges seem to have less pectin than some other varieties of citrus. And it's got a nice caramel-type flavour, not too sweet, not too bitter, and totally different in character from marmalade made with ordinary (sweet) oranges.

One net of five large fruit gave me two 1lb jars and two slightly smaller jars.

From the bonus features on the Despicable Me 4 DVD, it turns out that I share a birthday with Minion Benny. Totally silly film, but just what I needed this evening.

Morning.
It is a bit sunny here. The sky looks a bit grey.
I seem to have gone down with a cold or something. I slept a lot yesterday and didn't feel like doing much.
I tried having a go on my saxophone. I thought I would try doing a bit of playing some notes and counting one and two between each note. It sounds fine in theory but as soon as played a note I couldn't hear myself think! The voice in my head which was supposed to do the counting couldn't be heard!
