fwiw - since getting teeth straightened & some crowns, I began brushing after every meal & even after every cup of coffee & I now use an electric toothbrush at home, twice a day. when I go in for bi-annual checkups & cleaning, they pretty much have no cleaning to do

Warmish, 17°, today, but dull and breezy, a smirr of rain this morning. Went to the gym and did the cleaning. Now watching the Tour of Switzerland.
Tomorrow’s forecast looks better so hopefully I’ll be able to get out on the bike for a bit.

Afternoon exploration of a new cyclepath which now forms a crossroads with one I use usually to, and rarely from, Lidl.
Took the westerly one first and that lead me around some new housing on what was the rugby ground as far as a big green fence across it. Definitely not completed. Looped back through the housing and headed east. That also passed by new housing to join onto the highway just west of the Starbeck branch of the Nidderdale Way.
Seeing where I was I decided on a browse in The Range and picked up a pack of Wilco Allen Keys, my last sets holder has partly broken and one of the smaller ones keeps on hiding while an even smaller one has acquired a sharp bend.
On the return I realised I was heading for the roadworks I avoided yesterday so varied the route only to find the roadworks had moved down a road I rarely cycle on.

Normal afternoon service has resumed and I'm back in the shade in the garden with the radio, Chromebook, hot chocolate and a pint of cold squash.
I had a couple of hours out on a slow bike ride earlier which was mainly used as an excuse to catch up with a couple of podcasts.

A hot and sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept OK, though it took me a while to drop off. Feeling a bit meh today due to lady issues returning after two months AWOL. Better now than over the weekend, as I'm stewarding at the joint Kensington / BOBcats show. And I'm driving a friend and her cats to the show as well, as the air con in her car has gone *fzzzzzt*
Had a busy morning. Gave Colin a bath, as he was covered in dust and bird poo. A bit of a palaver, as it was wash a bit, then rinse right away with a watering can, as the soap was drying ridiculously quickly. Still, I think I did a nice job.
Lovely luncheon of a tiger roll filed with cheese and salami, plus some fruit (watermelon, flat peach) and a
After, I spent a little time on the Reynard 893 drawing before heading out into the garden to cut some grass. Did quite a bit, and the bit around the house along with the immediate garden look so much neater. Will continue on next week.
Green bin has been put out for collection. No black bag, still not enough in it.
Tonight's entertainment will be a webchat with Gordon "Flash" Shedden.
