What Morons are responsible for putting up road signs and markings?
We spotted plenty of it on our journey in the past couple of days.
Closed Road signs placed down a road once you've entered it!
Our route back from Bridlington. We were heading for the M62 so we followed the signs! Bl**dy convoy of traffic being routed along populated road with 30 and 40 speed limits! I should have turned off when the sat nav told me to but the road looked small and wasn't what the signs said.
Another thing! Approaching a roundabout. The road sign says which lane you should be in but the road markings say something different! You find that vehicles cut you up or sound their horns because you are in the wrong lane!

It's a test.
Only the strongest survive to get where they want to go. Usually the more attractive parts of The County. Got to keep the numbers down at the top attractions, whilst diverting visitors to less well visited areas.
But if leaving The County we make it a bit easier for you.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's turned into a bright, sunny and breezy day after earlier dark clouds and rumbles of thunder. No rain apart from a couple of drops as it all seemed to go offshore up the North Sea from the radar trace.

Coffee has been had and a load of washing is on the go taking advantage of free solar power and then the drying breeze when it goes out on the whirlygig. I'll need to decide soon whether to raid the freezer for tea to give it time to defrost, or whether to pop into town and see what takes my fancy.

Cooler, cloudy and noisy... the 6 a side football tournament continues in more suitable conditions. Was meant to be all weekend.
I think the football season has finished locally as there's silence from the playing field nearby.

Rain came earlier than predicted. Decided to do a round of updating Freeview devices. Have two Freeview PVRs, one rarely used but does usefully have a clock on its display. It shares a HDMI port with a Blu-ray player and a old VCR equally rarely used.
First issue was the semi automatic HDMI switch appears to have died. PVR connected direct to the HDMI and a picture but no sound. Turned out definitely not to be a cabke issue and ended up doing a factory reset, albeit with wifi settings retained, which did recover sound on that hdmi port.
iPlayer etc reinstalled.

I wonder who thought it was a good idea to build a shelter at a ferry terminal with great big holes in it so rain blows in a soaks you anyway!

If a small seaside town such as Felixstowe can be that busy on the sea front,I dread to think what somewhere like Southend, Clacton or Great Yarmouth are like today!

Another five minutes in the fridge for the yellow sticker mini iced donuts to solidify the icing so they're not sticky to hold, then they're coming with me into the back garden as snacks while I catch up with the BTCC on ITVX on the Chromebook.
