Good morning from a ground floor hotel room in Royal Tunbridge Wells where it's dull and overcast after a damp start. Today's view is of a financial planner's office and a road leading to a car park.

It's almost time to walk up the road and into town for breakfast and then back to the train station where the return journey starts in about 90 minutes.

Sometimes when I'm bored, I'll watch the shopping channels on TV - just for a laugh. It's junk food for the brain. I wouldn't want to be a presenter on those, having to be enthusiastic about selling stuff people don't need, for them to buy with money they don't have. But there was one bloke who used to be very funny when he sold bling. Couldn't remember his name, so did a bit of sleuthing with Mr Google. And actually found a load of clips on the Tube of You. The guy's name is John Scott btw. I think he sells sewing machines these days...

I used to enjoy listening to people selling things in street markets. Not often heard these days.

Opened the blind on the kitchen door to find a squirrel had defeated the baffle on the bird feeder pole and pushed it down to gain access to the sunflower hearts
The seed feeder is longer and out of reach of the squirrel with its rear legs wrapped around the brackets at top of the pole.
Looks like a wrap of insulation tape is needed for the baffles fitment to properly grip.

Enjoyed a binge listen of Ramblings yesterday, five episodes covering some of the Santiago de Compostela Caminos. An interesting listen. I notice that today’s episode is closer to home, just a few miles away in Penicuik.
This morning I’ve cleaned the house and cleaned our his and her Shands. Might get out later if it continues to brighten.

Late running train into London resulted in a missed connection at Stratford by 1 minute. A Delay Repay claim will be submitted when I get home.

It's nice to do a different route from time to time.

The itchiness is gradually starting to ease, but my face is even puffier than before. I have been using a flannel to put cold water on my physog, which helps.

This is bad enough with just my face affected. If someone had this much sunburn all over their body, that would be horrendous.
