Just thought of the ultimate solution in the on going battle against the evil forces of hay fever :boxing:
If I wear a scuba suit complete with mask and air tanks, I'll have clean air with zero pollen and I can't physically rub my eyes should they itch!
Only downside being I may get a smidge warm in the full kit, however I'd obtain some cool points by sounding like Darth Vader all day

Pre WAH Aldi trek completed and en route along the unmade path some path closing attempts by surrounding vegetation trampled down. Alongside the A59 only going but still enough for the odours of a livestock wagon to linger too long.
One of the belts I bought the other month has lost its prong. Looked all around but cannot find it. They are going to send a replacement belt.

To the little sod that scraped the front bumper of our old Aygo this weekend, I know who you are, and I can find out your employer very easily.

Arrived home last night to see a scrape on the wheel, tyre and front bumper. Bugger. Daughter did text Friday night to say she'd taken the reg of a car that's front bumper had come off. Just so happens CCTV shows same car doing a very bad turn, then driving into out car, which then 'visibly wobbled' the car, and then the driver's front bumper fell off. They had to stop so daughter grabbed her phone. No message left.

It's one of the caring staff that visit our neighbour, so this is a regular visitor. I'm not taking it further on the insurance as I was able to t-cut and re-paint the edge of the bumper - looks OK (old car). Fortunately it wasn't my 'new to me van' or my wife's car which is immaculate, otherwise there would be trouble.

I won't mither my neighbour, but catch either her daughter, or the actual car driver on the next visit. They can at least apologise and smacking up someone's car and driving off isn't acceptable. If they deny it, I have video and photo evidence. If they get arsy I'll just contact the care company.

On the way home and thoroughly enjoying the cool of the train's air conditioning after 3 hours crossing Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire in what felt like a sauna.

A little bit up from mundane but one of my hearing aids has died.Sadly it is the best pair with bluetooth so i can play my Spotify without the family complaining, luckily i have a second pair which do not pair with bluetooth, cheap nhs ones.I am going to try and get the first pair repaired but i should have handed them in but nobody asked for them so i kept them, now also after about two years i got the turbo out and did twenty mins on the lawn,it felt good.

It's been another scorchio day here chez Casa Reynard, but not so bad as yesterday thanks to the high cloud and northerly breeze.

Did not sleep well - too hot, and not helped by Madam barfing *in* the bed. Ergo emergency clean-up etc required. So have been navigating today feeling very meh and sleepy. Navigated a few choresy things including doing a load of laundry (it all dried quite nicely outside) and baking a batch of coconut macaroons as the parental wants them as a gift.

Madam Lexi's leg is already markedly improved after two doses of AB and one of anti-inflammatories. She gets her second dose of the latter in about half an hour.

Now sat down with a :cuppa: and some tennis on the TV
