Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Emergency plumber is here because of a water leak. My house is starting to resemble a Swiss cheese, but at least he's found the leak.

Another frustrating IT morning. Seemed the work computer hadn't updated a record. I have a document it claimed had not to be printed. A while later I discovered admin had duplicated the doc so there were two records of them, one printed etc and one not.
GYS seems fated by accidents this year. One exiting on Tuesday, a fatal accident closing the A59 from the east seriously delaying attendees yesterday, and today a van has crashed onto the railway at Knaresborough meaning no trains fron York and hoards of GYS attendees affected.

I've never been approached by the Poo Monitor to ask the question.
Personally, I take 4.

When I had my last GSD I used to take the packet but then I had a dedicated 'dog walking' bag with his balls*, chewy toy, treats, wet wipes and paper towels (for me) , a doggy water bottle and spare leash/choke chain. Sabor was funny about his chain, if you took it off he didn't know what to do but if you unclipped the leash from it he was fine, I think he was a bit off a chav and that was his 'bling', it also had his chip identifier number thingy on it . He also normally had a bandana round his neck which on a hot day I would soak in water to help him stay cooler

* Rubber balls for chasing, he was an 'entire' male so he carried those in their own little bag before the 'wits' start

If anyone is wondering what that rrrrrrrrrrrrrr, rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr is, that's Madam.

I'm sat at my desk, and I can hear her purring all the way across the room. That cone is like one of those sound mirrors built on the south coast! Unsurprising really, given it's semi-rigid and parabolic in shape.

This is a totally unintended consequence of a Lexi-proof buster collar.

have you heard about the new inflatable donut alternative options?

Community wardens* will ask if they see your dog going and you not making any attempt to clear up afterwards.

*Assuming they're out and about.

was at my Mother's house recently. picking up trash & minor landscaping. the house is on a main street w/ lots of pedestrian traffic, but it's also a corner lot & the side street is quiet & not well lit at night, so ppl throw small bits of trash out car windows, including cigarette butts

a tiny elderly woman walks by, makes eye contact & goes on a rant in a foreign language that I didn't recognize. but she was sympathetic to my trash cleanup. she went on for quite a while, including many hand gestures

eventually she includes the word "doggie". so I smiled & nodded
