Awoke at around 2am, too hot in the bedroom. Shoved the covers off, laid there, tried to sleep, the.minutes then hours pass. It's now nearly 5am, just walked the dog, picked a carrier bag of litter, back, bagel and a cuppa.
Ironically, I hadn't put on the AC last night, first mistake. It's on now, going to try going back to bed soon.

I have tried recreating the recipe and have found that a week in the oven at 250 is fine. A slice of this cake is ideal if you have accidentally been poisoned!

I don't know if I have been suffering from the after effects of my shingles jab or from my ride. I wasn't much use yesterday and kept having naps. In the evening I was getting chest niggles so I tried Gaviscon and then GTN, finally a pint of cider seemed to fix it. One of the side effects of the injection is muscle aches.

My truck & trailer are, eventually (1 / 1½ hr callout) going to be recovered to a garage where another driver will take my trailer to it's destination.
If my truck gets fixed, I'll drive it back to the depot. If not, I'll need to be recovered by a passing driver or summat 👍

Seems like fuel starvation caused the Air India crash according to a preliminary report. Fuel to both engines was cut off. Not an ideal situation!
