And now, I have just washed a buster collar. Lexi's been trying to groom herself, and because she can't reach (good!), she's been licking the inside of the collar, and it had gotten rather skanky.

Spare collar is on, and the other one will be dry by the morning.

In my experience, they do tend to leak a little, especially if they're hot or being used in warm temps - because the oil becomes more runny. The oil keeps the chain and bar cool and lubricated, and this is essentially done by a drip feed.

I store mine resting on an old window box filled with sawdust to catch the drippage.

Good morning all, still damp and grey here, forecast to brighten later. It’s nice to be back to normal temperatures, anything above 20° is too hot for me.

Sunny with blue sky and a few things streaky clouds.
No nightmares last night.
I went out yesterday afternoon to road test the bike I bought for a friend. It is a Specialized Secteur Sport, I have the Allez. It was a nice ride, raised stem which might suit him better as his present bike has straight bars. Triple clanger and 9 rear sprockets so a better range of gears than mine. It was a nice local find on FBMP. The seller was really nice. I popped into town yesterday morning to pay him the £15 I owed him.
