Morning.
It was grey and misty when I first got up but it is just now grey.
There was a ride last night, we stopped off at a couple of pubs for a drink and a chat. Whilst we were chatting my friend said that he had visited the dentist and had to pay £280 for a check up and 2 fillings. All of the NHS dentists around here have gone private.

Yowsers, that was some football match... Looked like the Lionesses were going home with their tails between their legs after half an hour. And yet, they clawed it back.

Morning all, muggy grey start round 'ere but the big ol' orange orb has started to make an appearance. Still forecast rain though.
Bike and kit are in the bus ready for an end of week after work ride.

There was nothing left to use - not even the cardboard roll as it was one of the 'tubeless' brands!

Oh, a nice little feature on the new Class 99 locos on Look East. They're based in Peterborough, so good chance I'll be seeing them chuntering past Casa Reynard in the not too distant future.

They look so swish, so much nicer than the Class 66.

I saw that as well - looking forward to seeing them on their way to or from your area.

Anyhow, good morning from Suffolk where it's another warm and mostly sunny start to the day. Coffee has been had.
I was tempted by another ride out for a liquid lunch and train home, but to preserve my legs I've stuck a load of washing on the long cycle. If I do go out it won't be until that's done and out on the whirlygig to dry so will only be a shorter ride.

I'm wondering if revvy two stroke man is running low on fuel as it only seemed to go on for about five minutes this morning. To replace it, someone else has a petrol lawn mower in operation somewhere close by.

I think I need to slow down, not sure I can handle all this excitement!
