So much for the BBC weather forecast of heavy showers from early afternoon as it's quite bright and warm at the moment. I could have taken the next train out and ridden home after all.
No matter as I've had a good day so far of coffee, squash, snacks, podcasts and a bit of a local pootle.

Grey all day until late afternoon when it went sunny all of a sudden.
And in other news, took delivery of a soundbar from John Lewis, it’s made a massive difference to being able to hear the telly.

Third time lucky if you were a rain cloud as after two unexpected dry days it came down in torrents this pm.
Office day and later than normal return home once it appeared dry. Decided to put my rain jacket on and it start to rain around half way home.
Before that decended humps and hill a front mudguard fixing jumped put of its slot but without impeding the wheel. Thoughts that I would sort it when invariably paused at the A61 crossing were cancelled at the foot when I realised the chain had jumped off.
Things happen in threes and back home Strava is refusing to acknowledge this mornings ride, clearly there on the Elemnt Bolt.
Evri had left a bag of bird seed but it outside box only seems to have been affected by the rain.

It's been a mixed bag weatherwise here chez Casa Reynard - rain very early doors, then warm, humid and occasionally sunny.
Did not sleep well, ergo feeling rather meh. Had a lovely morning in the company of a friend and her two dogs, walking around the local playing fields and on some nearby trails.
Other than that, I've had a quiet day. The main task was adding more ties and supports to my tomato plants - the recent rain has made them go a bit bananas. They've nearly doubled in height and have set a stupid amount of fruit. Also dosed all my planters with some liquid fertilizer.
Have spent the afternoon editing what I wrote yesterday. I've also been backing up some of the digital elements of my archive, only to be somewhat hamstrung by both laptops not liking the memory card reader. They like it with a 1Gb SD card in it, but not with a 16Gb SD card in it. Very odd. My Thinkpad has a dedicated SD slot thank goodness, so that works, but my Vaio doesn't, so I need to try and remember where I've put my spare USB keys.
TBH, I really should get a dedicated external HDD for my archive, as the two that I've got are chock full of other stuff.
Currently watching Today at the Test. Soon be time for the football.

Can you still buy blank monje? I expect it's not to hard to make but I don't recall seeing it in shops. We do like a jelly in our house with fresh raspberries and a decent vanilla custard.
Strava fixed. Forced upload from the Elemnt App. Completely forgot I had that on the phone until Play Store said it was installed.
Rather anxious wait switching the TV as it decided to install an update. Seems okay but its notifications are silent on what the update is for.
