Second cuppa went down well with a slice of toast and red jam.
Tradesperson has been and sized up the job we need doing so just waiting for the quote now.
Shower cubicle has hopefully been resealed if it doesn't work I think it will need to be disassembled but not convinced it would come apart.

The 'replacement' front bike light arrived yesterday from Amazon (this is the one where Magicshine contacted to me saying certain 'early' models may have issues with power standby) - so I now have two. The 'original' is going on the commuter to see if it actually does have an issue. It has a very pronounced cut off, and a 'main beam' with a remote. Compact unit that comes with a dual garmin mount.

There was a helicopter parked in the parade ground of the barracks this morning, under wraps like it had just been unloaded from a transporter. I wonder if this is the Apache that is scheduled to do next week’s flypasts at the Tattoo.

Intended to go for a good bike ride today after over a week off but so far i have ...
took the roof box and bars off the car
taken mrs ck shopping
phone call from gp arranging an appointment to discuss meds for 1.45 pm
tried to go to tip with cardboard boxes but i didnt feel like sitting for about an hour in the queue so came back
had lunch
nap time .

A45 was the A45 IE busy and stationary for 5 minutes.

The A45 was clear when I traversed it twixt Riverside & Barnes Meadow @ 11 ish..
½hr later it was queuing for a mile or so 🤷‍♂️

Just been a big smash on the road outside the house. Apparently someone just pulled out of the farm and got clouted. No one hurt luckily, but a bit of drama when a camper tried to do a u turn and managed to ground its self. I haven’t heard the bizzies yet.

We trawled along between Riverside and Bedford rd at 1.30 no reason why.

Thankfully the return journey was clear after we stopped at Work bridge for a cuppa and a slice of cake to celebrate the all is good with my aged relatives hospital appointment

I was at Workbridge to pick up some bedding plants & walk the dogs..
They do darn fine cake there, don't they!! 😋
