Others were tarted up a bit and sold as Aston Marin Cygnets for around £30k - they now sell for upwards of £35k!

Good morning from a currently sunny and warm Suffolk. Coffee has been had and a bowl of porridge will shortly be nuked for breakfast to sustain me until I get to York later this afternoon.

The overnight bag is by the front door ready to go, all I need to do is make a small bottle of squash, add the snacks and head to the train station in about an hour's time. This Is The Kit at The Crescent this evening.

My back is lot better today, despite the long drive. Oddly enough, pressing the clutch does irritate it. I found myself thinking about an automatic car. I must be officially getting old!

I think many newer cars give a lot more lumbar support which helps with repeated clutch use. But there again, I've now changed to my first automatic car and it does make slow moving in heavy stop-start traffic far easier (if I go out west I can drive for up to an hour before getting to a 30mph zone, the rest is all crawling in 20mph zones) so that's no longer a problem.
