I was scanning through YouTube and saw a young woman lift up a very lightweight road bike and twist it around as if it was an empty cardboard box! Are these new fangled racing / road bikes that light? I think it was a Canyon brand bike?

Sunny morning but with rain expected from midday the first use of the tumble dryer for ages. Now its contents are down to a summer duvet cover which seems reluctant to dry.
Sainsbury's home delivery expected in the next hour. Whilst Ocado managed to supply everything ordered, Sainsbury's have cancelled two items, nothing urgently needed thankfully, and replaced one with another- the TV guide.

First race - the 60 mile women's - done and only two drivers thought the road closure didn't apply to them. Both were on the final lap at a point where the police moto wasn't on point.

We managed to stop both and turn them round just before the lead pack arrived.

Theres some nutters amongst drivers, YouTube dashcam video watched recently had the driver simply ploughing through road closed signs.
Sainsbury's turned up. Prefer Ocado, they deliver in plastic bags so no hurry in having to empty delivery crate or two. Anyway everything being delivered present.

Nasty crash in the men's race at my marshalling point. Rider's up and with medic team but not looking good.

My normal weeks work is Friday & Saturday. I chuck a couple of Sundays in per year to bump my holiday pay up (plus it pays well 😉)
