A very mixed day.

The morning sunshine was quickly replaced by grey cloud cover, later with added drizzle (timed at 14:00 as predicted) and then proper heavy rain. Quite cold thanks when exposed to the breeze as well.

Racing was a bit disjointed with two early red flags, so it was a good job they started early as the eventual finish time wasn't far off the originally timetabled one and the heavy rain finished the race about 10 minuted short of the 4 hour mark due to the lack of visibility in the spray. The on track action was great though and I'll be back next year if it runs again (which it should with around 110,000 people through the gates over 3 days apparently).

A thoroughly wet and difficult drive home with constant rain, varying spray, cars with too bright/complete lack of lights and still wet shoes & socks. Everything got hung up to dry when I got home about four hours ago and I'll sort it out in the morning.
