A belated good morning from Suffolk where it's been a dry but grey start to the day. At least it's a light grey compared to the dark grey of yesterday. Coffee has been had while a whole lot of nothing has been done over the past 2 1/2 hours since waking up - a load of washing has been done and is waiting to go on the whirlygig and I've booked myself to go and see a band in Newcastle rather than the originally planned Nottingham as the timing is better.
All that's left to do is a little bit of food shopping for the next few days and possibly a quick vacuum of the carpets. I'm sure I can fill in the rest of the day with that if I take my time.

It's been a grey and blustery day here chez Casa Reynard, albeit a very warm and humid one.
Slept well, but have felt rather run down. So I've had a plumpitty day. This involves wearing a onesie and doing as little as possible. I did water all the planters outside, tidy up the shopping and consign some stuff to the freezer.
Lovely luncheon of the last of the baguette, coronation turkey, an apple and a
Have spent the afternoon writing and working on my archive. It's been so nice to NOT have to run around like a blessed lunatic for a change. OK, I don't mind, but sometimes a quieter day is called for.
Good turn of the day was giving our postie a jar of homemade jam. Was lovely to put a smile on his face.
Now have a and a biskit, and am watching the early evening news.
