A really enjoyable 50k on & off road bike ride this morning, essentially just to get a loaf of bread and some milk. Mostly sunny, breezy and a few spots of drizzle added to the mix and made it home with plenty of time to spare before the delivery arrived. I was going to put the washing on the whirlygig to dry, but more rain arrived so it's in the spare room on the clothes horse.

Thanks to further rain showers during the afternoon my hopes of getting out for a bit more fresh air disappeared, so most of the time was spent on the sofa reading or doing a bit of internet window shopping ahead of pension payday.

I have been to the dentist this morning to have two teeth removed, one on each side of my mouth. Lots of annie's thetic.

I will be having a quiet afternoon. If make me a :cuppa: please make sure it is not too hot, thank you.

awww that’s no fun. here’s hoping the next few days aren’t so bad

getting some shiny new implants?

On Sunday I met a chap who has a slow puncture. He was pumping up his tyre hoping to make it home. He had another 8 miles to go. If he was going my way I would have offered to give him a lift from my house but he was going in the opposite direction. I asked him what bike it was. He said it was a Parlee and had imported it from America. Never heard of them! The only thing which stood out and looked special was the gold/ copper colour to the disc brakes. The bike was a lovely dull dark grey. xx( I saw one in my magazine and they aren't cheap! I don't know which one it was but he was complaining about having to pay import duty on it.
If I was to spend that sort of money I would want it to look special.

the blink camera I use just went up to almost 3 times the price

Another nice but cool day. Judging by the buses outside, the hotel seems to have changed their Scottish tourists for German ones.

Another highly boring day at work completed. I did some grocery shopping after work.

Twenty miles cycled in the moonlight. Quite chilly all the same, noticeable more so than last night. The amount of traffic around at night seems to keep increasing, even on the minor roads I cycle on. Don't people stay at home anymore?

Tesco Mobile have switched me to different plan as they've discontinued the old one.

No, the gaps between the teeth are not visible from the front.

I am taking two different meds for controlling the cancer, and the risk of infection is too high while taking them. To have the teeth extracted, (without a high risk) I have had to stop taking the meds for three weeks.

I wasn't going to start playing with one of my new toys until the weekend, but I couldn't resist resist the temptation. Welcome to my shiny new Chromebook. I'm using a different account which means the settings haven't been carried over so there's still lots to do in order get this one set up like my old one with all the apps, passwords, etc but initial impressions are good.
