The evening's hot chocolate has been had. Must remember to set an alarm when I go to bed as I'm on the earlier outbound train on Thursday.

It's been a grey day here chez Casa Reynard, but nowhere near as miserable as yesterday.

Slept so-so. Spent the morning in the company of a friend and her two dogs, walking around the local nature reserve. Stopped off at the community orchard on the way out and picked some medlars and some Cockett's Red apples. Was hoping for more than I got, but Storm Amy had dumped nearly the whole crop on the ground

This afternoon was taken up by a bunch of erranding. I had intended going out tomorrow, but a change in plans meant that I had to hit Tesco today for groceries and petrol for the car. Picked up coleslaw, bread, dry roasted peanuts and red lentils on yellow sticker.

A lovely supper of leek & potato soup, then Spanish-style chicken casserole with added sweet peppers and chickpeas, and rice.

Now sat watching the Sumo.

Wrestling?

Time I went to bed via a nice hot bath.

Nunnight one and all xxx :hello:

Good morning from Suffolk. Yet another cloudy start to the day with patches of blue sky to be seen - just not where the sun is rising. Chilly enough for the fleecy dressing gown this morning.

Coffee has been had and the overnight bag is by the front door ready for today's away day which starts in just over an hour with the walk to the train station. The various walking routes to the hotel & venue have been memorised and a possible watering hole for lunch identified for when I get there.
