fell asleep earlier, now I can't fall asleep

Yesterday I was trying to finish off the repair to my Cannondale frame. I had dented it when I fell over. I have filled it and sprayed it but needed to put the synapse letters back on. I had traced the remaining letters the best I could , not very easy on a curved surface. I then traced the letters onto some Frisk film. Clear adhesive plastic masking material.
Cutting out the letters with a scalpel wasn't a doddle!
The scalpel doesn't always cut right through and leaves little bits still attached. Once I had removed the letters I tried to fit the Frisk mask to the frame. That was fun! It sticks where you don't want it to and not where you want it to. I eventually gave up trying to be too precise as certain areas just would not stay down and decided to spray the white paint on dry. The paint shouldn't creep under the mask. The result wasn't too bad. Some of the letters had distorted a bit as the film had pulled in different directions as I tried to place it on the frame. I tidied these areas up with a bit of 1/4 inch masking tape and touch up brush. It now looks fine and won't notice once I've lacquered the repaired area.

Sat waiting to go out.Leeds to Normoss near Blackpool for fish and chips. Then Normoss to Goosnargh,we need to turn on the central heating. The sale has not finalised yet,all because of a bloke worried about a garage, built on a right of way sixty years ago,two people in the time have lived in it and never any complaints. So after a good time to sort it out he has been told to drop out.The house with the right of way has been removed from the chain till sorted out,and luckily a cash buyer has been found for the last house in the chain,it's been a pain,so now we are having to make sure no winter damaged is going to be caused,we hope the sale will go through before December, fingers crossed.

Good morning from a very wet, windy and generally miserable Suffolk.

This morning's coffee was made from two Kenco Columbian Tassimo pods in a very large mug which shows what sort of day it's going to be. I've already spent far too long pricing up whether to make my birthday weekend next year a full weekend away, rather than just the Saturday I've got booked - a massive £50 or so extra.

Domestics day today.
