Hot cordial squash time

That sounds like a friendly Underground train, in summer.

I jacked up my car and removed the front wheel this morning. As I rotated the wheel I could hear the scraping noise. I checked the pads to see if they were causing the noise then noticed that the bottom part of the brake backing plate was touching the disc. I bent it back out of the way and cured the problem. It must have been bent as we tried to separate the bottom ball joint.

The whole thing isn't showing either the local council or local police in a very good light.

Hope you get everything sorted, and at minimum cost* to yourselves.

*These things aren't just about the monetary cost either.

having spoken to a member of the cycling club who is a senior police officer i have been given phrases to get some butt kicked , lets hope it works.

What a difference the new coffee machine is, suddenly mugs of coffee are of greater quantity than the other one was churning out recently. Was thinking of keeping it but its definitely heading to the recycling site.
Work visits this afternoon and with 50+ miles to do the Texaco was called in at on the way into the office to collect some paperwork. Nearly stayed dry.
@Reynard have you been using the front light as a torch?

A question for cycle chat , we visited a local garden centre cafe just before lunchtime and quite a few tables were reserved just down the road is a pub that does lunchtime food and that also looked busy and I was thinking there's also a prison 300 metres away could both establishments be busy with people that have or are about to visit detainees?

:secret:
I hope they are not busy with people who have been accidently released from Prison!

More than 200 accidentally released in the last twelve month, and more this week.

It's been a very mild but rather cloudy day here chez Casa Reynard. No sign of any rain, overnight or during the day.

Slept really well. And overslept. By some margin. Whoops! So had a gentle what was left of the morning, puttering around doing the little things that wanted doing.

Had a lovely luncheon of a smoked cheese and salami sandwich, an apple, a banana and a :cuppa:

Spent the afternoon lumberjilling. Next week's weather isn't looking terribly stellar, ergo I'm taking the opportunity to get in as much firewood undercover as possible by then - it's gotten to that time of year where one has to make the most of the good weather day.

Then popped over to a friend with some comestibles so that she didn't need to cook this evening. Upon my return, I put the green bin out for collection in the morning.

Am now sat supping on a :cuppa: and watching the early evening news.
