Just a light lunch/snack has just been had as I'm still stuffed from breakfast. This will be followed by a beer before I book into the hotel. A bit of an early do today - the first band is on at 18:45 - so it doesn't leave much time for a snooze.
It's been mostly sunny all day here in London. I'm surprised how mild it's been. We have around 16C.

Brief dry spell allowed for a charity shop book drop off Co-op trek at lunchtime The Tea Time 50p off was applied once again so plainly not simply applying to late afternoon shopping.
Screwfix have advised me the next day in stock item has arrived, snag is next day was yesterday. In no hurry for it, a mains socket with usb charger for £6 and something to fit at the weekend.

It's been a surprisingly dry day here chez Casa Reynard - other than one light and brief shower.
Slept well, but I still feel tired and stressy. Did all the basic chores, and then took the bull by the horns and went lumberjilling. Given the incoming weather, it will be well into next week before I will be able to continue. Cut up some more of that downed ash tree and hauled it in - it's stacked by the sawhorse ready to cut up tomorrow. I also felled a dead cherry tree that was nearby - I'd marked it for felling last year with spray paint, but never got around to it. Small stuff has been hauled in, the rest, along with the rest of the ash tree, is a wheelbarrow or trailer job.

Had a nice post-prandial sit down, and then went back to view the cat I was interested in. She remembered me and was all over me like a rash. And when I left, she sat there looking so sad. Needless to say, I have reserved her. She goes for her second vaccinations tomorrow, and all being well, I shall be collecting her on Friday. So the vacant post of Chief SuPURRvisor has been filled.

We are in Yorkshire. The drive up here was mostly wet and not very nice. I didn't like W H Smiths at Leicester Forest. I was looking forward to browsing through the magazines to find Bu99er All!
