It's been a lovely and mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.

Did not sleep well - brain wouldn't turn off, and so haven't been feeling particularly stellar. That said, I spent the morning cutting up all the firewood that I hauled in yesterday, and it is now stashed away inside the garage. I also swept up all the sawdust from that, plus the soggy stuff that was caked two inches deep under the saw horse. Been taking kindling and small wood from the stack under the horse, and as that was chocka, I've only just gotten to it. That's all been scooped up and dumped in the green bin. Ran out of time to go and haul some more firewood in.

Lovely luncheon of egg mayonnaise on toast, an apple, a pear and a :cuppa:

Did a bunch of washing up, and gave the cat biscuit dispenser a good scrubbing. After, I dropped off a portion of stock and some slices of gammon for a friend. We had a good chinwag, the cats got their treats and cuddles, the doggos got their treats and fusses, and I borrowed a rain cover for my cat carrier. I did used to have one, but it fell apart, I stopped showing and I never replaced it.

Now have made myself a :cuppa: and I am about to sit down and watch the early evening news.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Morning.
Blue sky here and sunny, a bit windy. We are about 10 miles from Huddersfield.

As am I!
And I don't see you, anywhere.

As am I. Couldn't see you either.

Oh how lovely - the "Winter Wonderland" is up and running in Nottingham. And I have to pass through it multiple times today, tomorrow and next Monday and Tuesday. And I guess Leeds will be the same in the first week of December.

Bah Humbug.

It's up and running from the 21st of November. I'm commuting past the stalls they're setting up in Millennium Square.

Minor kitchen disaster this morning. Toast landed marmalade side down on the cutlery tray.
Successful evening shopping trip. Aldi had apples still at 99p and, after being missing last year, free from mince pies.
Sainsbury's not only had unsmoked mackeral, a free from steak pie and a pack of ice buns but in the reduced section a £55 set of four large and four smaller plates along with four dishes for £13.75.
Waitrose app offers not of interest this week but did need a new undated expiry Strawberry jam and the store paper was in.

Fabby supper of a jacket potato with the last of the chana dal (with added extra spinach & coconut), plus the last of the lokshen kugel and a little splooshette of cream. :hungry:

Another day nearly completed. It's mostly been very wet today. I required an umbrella for this morning's perambulation.

Penultimate day of the working week completed. I finish at one tomorrow.

I nearly got flattened this evening after work when I walked out of the newsagents and there was a Peugeot Partner driver that had decided to pull up on that pavement to park. :gun: After all, you couldn't expect someone to walk from the carpark about forty feet away.
