A dreich, wet morning here. I should have brought my umbrella.

Now waiting on my breakfast. Some inconsiderate 🤬 has sat in my window seat.:gun: I can't indulge in my favourite hobby of watching people trying to park their enormous SUVs!
Go over and quietly point out that they are sat where you normally sit, and that there's a free table(Where you were sitting) just over there, that they could use.

Good morning from an overcast and breezy Suffolk where light rain started a short while ago. Coffee has been had after oversleeping so yesterday must have taken more out of me than I thought.

I think today will be a very quiet and mostly indoor day given the weather forecast and I've plenty of listening, watching and reading material to catch up on.

If anyone sat at the wrong table at dinner time , we did more than quietly point it out. Same went for the wrong seats on the school bus. Once in 5th year it got easier the sight of your black jumper (5th years only) had most 1st years running the other way.

It's raining again.

A load of washing has been done. There was a dry period earlier so I took the opportunity to get out for a walk, extending my known 1 hour loop slightly out to 4 miles. I arrived home just as the first spots of drizzle hit my glasses and opening the back door to hear the washing machine beeping at the end of the spin. Still feeling rough, but I needed to get out.

Coffee and a bowl of curry noodles have been had, the washing is on the clothes horse and I'm about to slouch on the sofa with an afternoon of football on the radio and catch up with the news on the Chromebook - once it's been rebooted thanks to the second update of the week.

I have repaired our home network. It turned out the router had gone bang.

That's despite still being xx(

However, Christmas ideas shopping was a failure earlier despite ending up in a shop which sold old-style sweets alongside Nazi memorabilia

Have you ever thought about cycling from Lands End to Jon O' Groats? It has crossed my mind but I could never do it. For one thing there is planning the route! It's fine at the start as the signpost points in the general direction , but go a few miles and you will notice that JOG doesn't appear any more! Now where? Out with the map. I suppose you would head in the general direction of Bristol but that is a few pages further on!
Where would you stop as you can't cycle it in a day? Then there are food supplies to consider as sandwiches won't last that long? Trying to find fish and chips shops on route would add to the time, asking locals for directions and then queueing for them.
Finally you make it to Bristol , do you head for the Severn Bridge or carry on to Gloucester? Once the other side now where? Head north but which way?
It's a bl**dy nightmare! I admire those peeps that have done it but It needs a lot of planning.

As a result last weekends DIY job completed.
Afternoon and the cars rear wiper seal tackled. Everything was going fine until I mistakenly picked up a body panel fixing screw instead of the bolt I needed whilst refixing and then dropped it. Saw it decend into the depths of the boot. Boot emptied down to removing the spare wheel and the jack but no sign of it, but plenty of water. There were only three to removed, two to the side panels which I expect are pretty crucial to keeping the panelling on. The third was adjacent a hand hold that I do not remember using. Fitted a bolt found in the shed to that.
Was meant to be sunny with winds upto 20 moh but as I put the washing out just dull and little wind. Tumble dryer on again

If I was at Land 's End wondering about the way to Scotland, it would have been a wonderful navigation error.
Leave front door, turn left for Scotland, turn right for Manchester, London etc.
