Listened to the F1 this morning - don't think I'll bother watching it. Then the sun came out for a little while in the afternoon so I got a bike out and went for a bit of a slow leisure ride combined with some shopping ahead of next week - breezy but quite nice in the sun.
The rest of the day has been spent on the usual manner of a combination of the radio, TV, internet and reading. Next up is the evening's hot chocolate.
A few weeks back, when visiting the mates in York, we had dinner at Yemen Heaven. Jay Rayner had reviewed it back in February, and I thought I had to eat there. We were as impressed as he was. I will definitely be back some time, need to try more of the menu… They've just won the Food & Drink Establishments Award at the Yorkshire & Humberside Family Business Awards (yes, I voted). Well done them!
A search of the drive found no sign of the bolt that vanished yesterday
As the one I fitted may rust a pack of them has been ordered No doubt the missing will now appear.
First mince pies this season eaten today abd consequently a space in the cupboard for another pack to be purchased.
Morning.
It is dark out and I can't really see what is going on.
I will go round to my friends garage this morning as has a motorcycle tank with holes in it. The blasted E10 petrol will find any tiny hole and blister the paint. I was thinking that I might have to lead fill it.
