Phew! That was a struggle! My friend and I managed to get my seized seat post out. One of us twisting the frame whilst the other pushed upwards whilst it was held in a vice. Boiling water was poured onto the frame to try to expand it. It worked but it was a lot of twisting back and forth. The post was burried 6 inches down in the frame. After looking down inside the frame I could see corrosion below where the post had been.

Time for the hone.

The easy way to check is to try and open your utensil drawer.

If it opens about an inch and then jams, you own a masher!

This is exactly why my masher is up on a shelf alongside the pasta jars.

Though, I confess...
