Since capturing the first wasp a few days back, I've been finding one or two a day most days this week. This is a pretty old, timber framed house with a barn attached, so I suspect there's a nest somewhere in the building and the surviving wasps are trying to escape the cold.

Just checked the bank account. It looked better than I expected.
It turns out that one of the advantages of not having much of an income for several years, is that I got used to living on fresh air, so now my income is about average, I'm still spending very little day to day, and it means I'm finally able to start saving a bit.
It's still tight and will likely remain so for a few years, but at least I'm gradually building for the future...

They decided to make the race interesting that half of the cars will drive round the circuit one way and the others in the opposite direction!
