Oh what fun!
I went to my garage this morning and unlocked the side door, not sure what happened next but I noticed a key on the floor and nothing on the key ring. The big key had fallen off and the small front door key was missing. The blasted key ring had come apart. No spare keys! Can't remember if or where they would be, it's over 10 years now. I've looked in my pockets and on the ground in the area of the door. Semtex?

That was lucky! My wife just said there was a key on here bunch of key which she didn't recognise and said that I should try it in the garage. I went out and tried it but It wasn't the right one. I looked down and on the floor was the key that I was looking for. I have now been out and got 2 keys cut for £18.

A wet morning meant some little jobs got done.
First up was an office chair for son no. 2's house move. Last night I was clearly tired as I'd put the arms onto the wrong sides, despite checking three times. Oh, and in daylight I found out that there was an indicator on each side
. All built and looks decent. It was advertised on a popular auction site as 'grade B' and used, so marked, but a completely new chair came in the box for a third of the retail price.
Second was a new handle onto a drawer for an antique bureau we'd picked up last weekend for £1 alongside the bed we'd bought. I removed the broken lock on the drawer and added an old handle we had in a box which matched the rest nicely.
Final job was playing with the Giant Rock MTB with a steering wheel. It's now got working gears and a new chain, plus wheel trueing. Test ride and photos in the 'Fettled' thread later. It no longer looks quite like this, although the steering wheel's still there ... seeking a village idiot for the test ride ...

The upstairs toilet got blocked yesterday. My first attempt succeeded. Several small jugs of hot water (not boiling) and hey presto! one unblocked toilet.

Got the turbo trainer out for a session but the time i was on it was cut shorter than i wanted as everything decided to be ruddy awkward !!
the sync page kept crashing the app when connecting to the turbo
the bike didnt want to shift to the big ring even though it was fine a couple of days ago and nothing has changed
zwift was reading different power levels even when riding on the flat , i was set at 2.8 w/kg and it would vary on the flat from 1.8 to 4.9 w/ kg randomly grrr !!!
tried to to an update via my phone and it cant see the turbo as it only looks at ant + even though zwift sees it through bluetooth
Im ready to start chucking things about in a hissy fit
