Something to make me smile this morning, found myself walking aside a fella in the hospital, glanced sideways....errr Tony Parker ????
We havnt seen each other in 25 years. A nice chat followed. Lovely to see an old colleague...and not that it means much here, a comparison on people we do see and it turns out a former electrician I assumed may have passed by now...is still cycling his town bike locally...at 90 years old. Yay...

The van is full of rubbish 'again' (re-decorated son's room since he left home and daughter want's the bigger room). We are now awaiting imminent delivery of her new bed and mattress. Another tip run today, just awaiting the bed packaging to go in. Can't believe the amount of stuff that's gone for re-cycling. Much of it has been cardboard packaging.

Shopping has been completed and I'm now waiting for the delivery which has a time slot of 14:30 - 16:30. I have had a mug of coffee and a free cake while watching a woodpecker digging into my back garden looking for food - it seems to be a fairly regular visitor. Bike cleaning next.

For those who were wondering, Lidl was shopped first then Morrisons.

Friday afternoon it's colder inside the house than outside and it's just about raining.

All the old photographic magazines like Photo Graphic, Shutterbug, Lens Work, etc, all gone, it seems. Or so expensive you may as well write your own.
yeah I don't buy magazines for myself anymore

I always found trashy magazines in Doctors offices a good distraction, like Cosmo or People magazines, but sometimes pleasantly surprised by Popular Mechanics & some kind of motorsports mag.

Work visit to Knaresborough this afternoon after the rain stopped. Journey time there is bit like a how long is a length of string so rather surprised to find myself with plenty of time before the arranged appointment. Sweet shop consequently shopped for some sugar free chocolate for dad. Took what I thought was £11 worth to the till and got charged £9.60.
Then popped into a book shop. It is taking reservations for a local book exclusive to them that has sold out but another run is expected. Was slightly taken aback when I told the second run is of 25! No.19 reserved.
