Walk walked and Doggy fix fixed now for an afternoon of vegetable preparation

Lunchtime stroll completed ahead of schedule.

Walk is walked. Soup and sausage rolls are heating for lunch. Jigsaw is calling

Popped out again as realised I'd got drinks for everyone else (taking a load to SIL's tomorrow as they said they had none) and nothing for me.

Whilst I was out I spotted Santa driving down the road on his mobility scooter with a trailer of presents attached. Gave him a beep and a wave. Needs some magic dust if he's going to get round everyone.

It's raw out there but dry, thankfully. Time for a snooze, siesta, nap and anything else that pops up while lying in a darkened room.

It is my friend's birthday. I was letting my brain wander a bit, mine isn't for months yet.

Sat in hospital with my wife...I look out the window and ooh, its 16.00 hrs and there's still some daylight...

5 of us were mad enough to go for a ride this morning! The sun was poking through the cloud at times but the wind was bitterly cold. There were a few other cyclists 2 of which were wearing shorts!

In Manchester for a track session for the first time in 3 months. I'm about to find out how unfit I really am, which is VERY unfit.

Edited: 125 laps done in the hour (35km) on a 96" gear including a bit of chaingang. Not terrible but way off race pace. T-14 days.

2nd edit: I noticed I've developed a bad habit in that I'm tending to pedal with just one leg. Fine - it's fixable, except that when I intentionally used both my lungs caved in.

The cold weather was turning our brains to mush! As 2 of us were making our way back home my friend was leading the way and went down the back alley way behind some houses. I was thinking that it seemed a bit narrow and couldn't remember a stone wall to the side of it. We had gone parallel to the much larger path we should have taken.

Ah because it is Christmas and last day before the break.Our local cafe was doing all cake one pound a portion.So there was some fab looking fruit cake.£2-50 whoa i said all cake a pound,ah but not this it's maderia cake.
