Well, dinner cooked and mostly eaten..............some with a dish over it in the microwave for tomorrow.

It's been a bright, sunny but rather chilly day here chez Casa Reynard. Drive, car and extension (hallway) roof did not defrost, but fortunately the trees shelter us from the very keen north-easterly breeze.
Slept well and slept in. Had a quiet morning of doing all the chores. Even on Christmas Day, there's no escaping cleaning the grate, topping up the firewood bins and scooping the poop.
A lovely luncheon of pork pie, crusty bloomer, chicken liver & cranberry pate (home made), a
and half of a deliciously ripe mango.
A friend then popped round to exchange gifts after her day out on the coast with her doggos. A and some mini stollen bites were had, along with a good catch up. My friend also met Madam Ruby for the first time.
After said friend had trotted off, got the joint into the oven to slow roast, and sat down to open cards and gifts. The best one was a telescopic back scratcher - now I don't have any excuses not to reach those itches!
Madam Boo has played with her catnip gherkin pressie, and is all zonked out.
Now if you'll all excuse me, I have to go peel some potatoes...
