The one I'm getting is a TZ70 point & shoot type compact. My really liked the old one and it was just about the right size to be carried in a pocket while on the bike. It eventually succumbed to a broken screen when I dropped it so I went back to the smaller Canon, but was never happy with the picture quality.

I was out with my TZ90 a couple of days ago up at Horsey but the zoom was playing up. Probably a bit too much bouncing around in pockets for a long life. Annoyingly, it's now working fine again!

The robins appear to have decided to have an early springtime sing song. And from a couple of nights' bad sleep, I can report that they've also been singing away throughout the night. I have to admit, there is a strangely springlike feel to the day. I'll try not to get carried away; we've still got the whole of February to get through.

snowy 200 mile drive home yesterday. getting on the highway I was thinking, hmmm, maybe I should stay over another night

1st highway was sketchy

getting on the next highway the interchange wasn't even plowed

passed many accidents on all roads

some were closed, dunno why but I can imagine

this guy couldn't even get on the highway

surprising number of ppl wound up in the center median

multiple vehicles here, looks like one was struck T-bone style, but didn't look too bad

I made plenty of stops but even the rest areas were sketchy & not entirely plowed

glad to be home but gotta work today. more snow coming this afternoon & overnight

Good little camera for cycling. I currently use the Canon 610 HS

Blimey, I wouldn’t drive 20 miles in conditions like that, never mind 200 !

Been out for a little ride, it was cold leaving the house but dropping down through the houses it got considerably colder, there was a freezing fog slowly lifting all the way out along the canal and past Ratho. By Kirknewton I’d gained a bit of height and at least three degrees, made the ride back much more comfortable.

Finally the rain stop so an early afternoon trip into town has been done. Now time for a sit down and .

She was judging a cat show yesterday. So I'm guessing once recovered she'll pop in, unless she's obtained a collection of cats.

Today's ride was unpleasantly wet and cold - almost 60 miles of it.

So ... I get home near hypothermic, change and SWMBO decides we need a new duvet for the bed/s (two singles that make a double) in the guest room. Cue us going out to purchase a new duvet plus two covers. I'm a bit poorer and still haven't warmed up. They do look nice though.

Stupid weather, room lights on at 3.40. Speaking of lights thats what were absent on a licenced mobility scooter on the road this morning, just the strange outline to alert you out of the murk.
