That Terracotta modelling clay I was rubbishing the other day is a lot better once it has dried. The torso of a figure that I am trying to make has dried and I am now sanding it to shape. The cracks seem to have disappeared and I can now add more clay to areas which are a bit low by wetting the area and adding more clay. The body is gradually taking shape.

Maybe they didn't realise some cars still require petrol putting in them from time to time.
I know of one person who couldn't get his car going, due to no petrol in the tank. He seemed genuinely unaware that it required some putting in on a regular basis.

His car ownership days weren't long.

My ex ,Pamela, rang me one morning to say her car wouldn't start and could I have a look so went there and no go-juice, it must have made it into the garage on fumes.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been another grey and chilly start to the day. Damp underfoot but dry overhead - although not for long I suspect.

Coffee has been had with the last of the shortbread fingers. Nothing to do today apart from sort out the train tickets for an away day in April as I think the return leg goes on sale today.

Postie bought a Temu parcel. Had purchased a display light set but it had three LEDs with leads half the length they should have been
Rather than just send the three LEDs with correct length leads they have send the entire set.
A M&S Gift voucher started on bananas, iced buns, and a yellow label loaf for toast
Tesco for 99p oranges. Had a look at their chilled yellow label items but only the salmon tempted and was still more than mackerel so returned to the chiller.

I was right - less than an hour before the drizzle/rain started and it's been continuous since. Add in it being so dull that I either have to put the lights on or sit with my back to the window to have enough light to read.

More coffee has been had with a cheese and pickle roll just for something to do.
