The shopping has been done and the car set up and given a quick run to make sure it's ready for tomorrow.

I've also been out for what's turning into a regular Sunday stroll in the dull, damp, miserable and cold conditions we've been having recently into town for a free hot drink, along the seafront and back. Unsurprisingly there weren't many people out and about.

Watching Sherlock Holmes on itvx , Jeremy Brett still is the best Holmes by miles his preparation and attention to detail shines though. During filming he would keep referring to the original books. Making sure he and the episode was as true to type as possible.

Previously unnoted apple shortage lead to a Tesco visit and another pack of oranges picked up whilst still 99p. Noticed their app is giving store stock including what aisle it is on, or in the case if this not that big store denying something exists.

It's been a grey, drizzly, damp and miserable day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well enough, but just feel rather run-down. Joints still ouchie, and given lady issues seem to have been delayed, I suspect a hormonal element to my current discombobulation. Had the usual choresy morning.

A lovely luncheon of sourdough toast, homemade gravlax, plus an orange, an apple and a :cuppa:

After, topped up the firewood bins and then divided up one of the packs of ham and froze the portions. Then sat and listened to Arsenal v Man U. less said 'bout that, the better.

On the upsides, Aonishiki won the Hatsu Basho.

After your injury, I am guessing that you were walking/hobbling awkwardly
and that effects everything else.

Minus 16 here in Toronto. :cold:

Tinternet has transported me back to UK, but to Gloucestershire instead of Worcestershire.

The evening's hot chocolate has been made and, while the milk was being nuked, the non-recycling bin was moved to the front of the house ready for emptying in the morning. Although the bin's not that full, I'm away for the next two collections making it the second Monday in March the next time the bin would be put out.
