I used to live on a narrowboat near Bath. I now live on land, in a bungalow.
The bikes used to live in a shed.
I don’t think I could do it now. I’ve got too much stuff.😺

I think i have had more visits to the doctors and hospitals in the last 18 months than the previous 60 years

It has been exactly the same for me. If you look at the recent destinations on my sat nav it is just a list of hospitals!
I also found out today that I need yet another CT and MRI scan as latest liver function blood test results were not as expected.

A much needed meandering ride out to Stowmarket was had today with proper sunshine even making an appearance once past Ipswich. Cold, light winds and very wet & muddy roads, but I'll take that after the constant cloud and dullness of recent days. A couple of pints of something strongish and then the train home. All topped off with sausage & chips for tea to finish off a very good day.
This was the worst of the roads, but no sign of dryness anywhere

Hot chocolate next and an earlyish night I think.

Morrisons, Ocado and Waitrose have them but as usual inflated in price for using rice flour instead of wheat. £3.50 although often reduced to £3

Lucky we can now get Tim Tams , Mrs 73 got into them when she was in Australia she used to have wait for her auntie to come over visiting with a few packets.
The way to eat the normal ones the Australia way is to bite the chocolate of the sides and eat the top and bottom. Then suck your tea up though the middle.

Lunchtime cycle, all a bit muddy and damp but pleasant sunshine. Temperature almost double digits.
Now I have to deal with a toilet that is blocked. Why, how or where is not clear.
I have noticed our paper consumption has risen recently.

Little progress on the tÿ bach front. Much poking, prodding and unpleasant chemicals.
The pressure washer pipe blaster won't go around the 90 bends.
Removing the pan is next option. Seems a bit extreme.

Or pay a man with more toys than me to fix the problem.
My fear is the the lav pan man will want to remove the pan and open a whole new billing opportunity.
Caustic soda is to be procured in the morning!
