Day no getting nowhere with my wifi printer. Thought being offline might be fixed by installing a firmware update and reistalling the wibdows software but no. Did run a troubleshooter which fixed it briefly but a new problem of printing in greyscale only unless its a test print emerged.
Maybe its saying its 8 years old and wants replacing.
Otherwise its been a turning dry and sunny at times day. An Aldi trek was undertaken; noticeable tyat cornflower has strunk in size.

Yeah, we tried a WiFi printer (Brother iirc) blooming aggro all the time. No substitute for a cable.IMHO...

Lidl visited this afternoon.
The app came up with £2 off a set of three interlocking storage cases making them £7.99.
Used them to better organise the contents of four, out of seven, 2.5 litre really useful boxes full of cycling bits and pieces. Larger items had to stay in the other three really useful boxes while the rest of the bits and pieces are better arranged.

The Epson inkjet prior to the HP laser worked fine on WiFi. It's been the last 6 months that the HP had played up. Not just being awkward to connect but then throwing up various error states. When it did work yesterday it ran out of paper but gave an incorrect message of having a paper jam. Implies something internally had gone faulty.

It's been a mild and occasionally sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, and we seem to have escaped the forecast rain.

Slept well, though it took me ages to drop off, and I overslept massively as a consequence. As a result, the chores were zipped through rather quickly so that luncheon would be more or less on time.

Had a lovely luncheon of a tiger roll filled with ham and the last of the ossau-iraty cheese (well, from this particular selection anyways), a tangerine, a pear and a lovely :cuppa:

I have had a quiet afternoon so far - am currently sat by the fire in the company of Madam Boo, and the parental is in her armchair doing sudoku puzzled. Shortly, I shall make a nice pot of soup. Other than that, supper will be a "use up the random bits" affair.

Morning spent playing housework catch up, then off into town called into Lidi to find much of the bread was reduced. Due to short date however who ever did it got a bit carried away. Found some well in date had been included so bagged two loaves for less than cost of one.

Sometimes they'll shift overstock on sticker, not just stuff that's short dated. Or it could be something that's end-of-line. Either way, a good buy is not to be sniffed at.
