Wet again today so, again, I took the magnesium Carrera Vengeance for the weekly Saturday club ride to Holmfirth. For a 25 year-old bike it's starting to clock up a fair few miles since being built in November last year, mainly due to the rain and other bad weather we've been having.

Today was final celebration of my birthday,another meal out,lunchtime visit Jinos in Headingley,Thai food at it's finest,starter and a main plus a pot of jasmine tea.Oh my word it was superb as always,and our daughter treated us.

Not every thing survived the online shop, 1st the vinegar had leaked all over the place. Then I found in another crate the washing liquid had done the the same. Lucky one was in the same crate as Mrs 73 Pepsi and other was over a handful of tins.

from Lincoln where a busy day has been had. I have train travelled, walked, lunched, drinked, showered, shaved and snoozed and now it's time to go out and have an evening of loud rock music and more drinks.

Good job I'm not on an early train out of here on Sunday.

Weather forecast for tomorrow morning looks good so hopefully another early morning ride with a few miles.

Sudden sneezing event this afternoon so chicken and vegetable soup was a good choice. Not sure why it said shake well before heating as it was 99% liquid (Cully and Sully) Maybe standard printing.

Much of my snow here has melted. Currently eating Triscuits and listening to "The Snowflake Ballet" from Offfenbach's "From the Earth to the Moon"

Other than the usual complaints about the poor beer choice and the cost of said liquid at larger venues, that was another really good evening. As it was an AC/DC tribute act it's a good job they don't offer a seniors' discount rate as the vast majority of the audience would qualify and they'd hardly make any money.

Just got this drink to finish having already had a hot chocolate on return to the hotel, then it's bed time.
