WAH ends and is time to put the lights on. Must not get too use to that otherwise WAH will go on too long.

Back home to Suffolk where what remained of the afternoon was very overcast, dull and sightly misty. The overnight back has been unpacked and everything swapped into a smaller bag ahead of Thursday's next outing. Still stuffed from breakfast so a couple of slices of toast later on will suffice as an evening meal.

A load of washing is currently on the go.

I had the 'millionaires shortbread slice' as my freebie yesterday, and very nice it was too.

I've just had a biopsy under general anaesthetic done. I'm still in recovery and it feels like I need to sober up. After a couple of apointment time changes, I managed to confuse myself and turn up an hour late. I wouldn't recommend it but I think it may have cut down quite a bit of time waiting around.

Wait till they kick you out because they are closing the day ward. That was interesting. Went in for a fairly major undercarriage surgery, operation not till gone two or three PM. Down for two hours, came round at 6ish, righty, you need picking up ASAP as we're closing the ward. A rather wobbly walk to the car followed.

Normal the surgical ward who's turn it is to be on take for the hospital overnight. Takes anyone who's not fit for discharge at the end of the day.
At our hospital only ENT was different due to powers that be doing away with out of hours ENT Dr cover. They had to be transported to another hospital altogether.
