Wonder if pro curling players all have spotless hard floors at home

I was at a bowls club yesterday and they don't seem to have the same pride in their sport. I would have expected them to be out with their vacuum cleaners.

Morning.
Grey with drizzle here.
The Pogs are starting to gather in the frond.

Good morning from Suffolk where after a very wet start it's brightened up into being merely drizzling. Coffee has been had.

Quite a few things to be done today - I need to get the clippers out and give myself a haircut (grade 6), the bedding needs changing, the vacuuming is to be done and possibly the kitchen floor to be steam mopped. Then I need to go to Morrisons and pick up some food & snacks (which will include a free pack of cookies) for Thursday's away day.

Regular infusions of orange & mango squash and coffee will fill in the gaps between activities.

Just watch a clip from BBC archive from 1985 of a UK bloke who in the UK made hand made pork pies. His idea now he lives in America was to sell them to the locals. What a waste , the idea of a true British pork pie was totally lost on them.

Not really to our tastes, I fear. Pasties would go over better, but only in Michigan, among the Yoopers.(Upper Peninsula)
