I just made a coffee far too strong for my tastebuds today. Just a scoop and a tad as usual but my tastebuds can be temperamental.

It's slightly disconcerting because I'm expecting a delivery of 4kg of the same coffee in an hour or so.

Just stick a splash of hot water in

That's me almost done with shopping and domestics for the day - just got the kitchen floor to do. There was actually a few minutes of sunshine while I was out, but that was balanced by another short rain shower.

One thing I need to do when I fire up the PC is to re-report the pothole pictured below and photographed this afternoon which Suffolk Council claim they fixed yesterday.

Today is International Day of Women & Girls in Science. Opportunity to shine a light on the amazing Dorothy Hodgkin who discovered structure of Insulin , Penicillin, Vit. B12 & steroids. Meaning it could be made in a lab in doing so her work paved the way for of modern medicines. She received the 1964 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, and to date is the only British woman scientist to have been awarded a Nobel Prize

Afternoon hot chocolate went down well followed by a bowl of washing up.

Just had some down time with Georgie our cat. We were both laying on the carpet and he let me give him some head rubs. Trouble is that he gets a bit carried away and starts biting.

A neighbours friendly cat would, whilst being fussed over, decide claws were neccessary.
Just uttering No claws resulted in claws being retracted. Maybe something similar re no biting might have effect.

Wil it snow or just rain tomorrow and what will me like going over the top? Conclusion tomorrows Skipton office team meeting will be joined by Teams.
Sainsbury's shopped this evening instead of tomorrow. Slightly problematic getting there as to start off the handbrake would not release and then blue lights all over a road which was closed. A RTA apparently which may or may not have involved a bus
