I managed to get out for a test ride this morning. Sunshine with cloud. I wanted to road test a bike and to try out the video recording on my Smart glasses. There is a roundabout where drivers have cut me up in the past. The video recording worked well. I had to switch the recording manually well before I got to the roundabout. I had to wear my fingerless gloves to press the recording switch which was a bit of a pain.

It's been another soggy, squelchy and chilly day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well enough, but my back was very "tight" and things have been taken rather slowly. It always gets better as I go through the day, and then seizes up again during the night. But I've been doing some gentle stretching, and I have a massage machine to fall back on. I had the usual choresy morning, which wasn't fun as it was hosing with rain outside.

Lovely luncheon of toast, kipper pate, a pear, a banana and a :cuppa:

Have had a quiet afternoon, but in good news, I've gotten to the bottom of the shitty TV reception downstairs. The culprit was the AC-DC adaptor for the aerial. I did a swapsy with the upstairs TV - which now doesn't receive any signal, and I shall be looking for a replacement, probably on the Bay of E.

Have also been following the action from Milano-Cortina. The curling and snowboard cross has kind of been depressing. I also watched the Formula E from Jeddah.

Cat has been fed, and soon it will be time to feed me.

I'm getting sunshine by proxy as I'm currently watching the coverage of the Bathurst 12 hour meeting from Australia via YouTube. There's already been one support race which started at 07:25 local time for for 'Combined Sedans' which is one way of waking up as it featured a mix of big grunty V8s, flat 6 Porsches and high revving in-line 4s.
The main race starts at 05:45 local, 18:45 GMT on Saturday, so that's tomorrow evening sorted.

And that's the evening's hot chocolate had.

I have a couple of really nice beers in the fridge that will go down very well to finish off the day.
