Well, that's a surprise. The management dragged me out cycling. Having announced that less than 10°C is too cold.
Asxee passed through the back door I noticed the weather station was showing the external temperature as 3°C.
Well the 30k round trip to her route was pleasant. But, very strong wind and very cold.
Still don't know the logic behind this outing.
There was a drink at the half way pub.

Off to see the Kaiser Chief's tonight ! Stopping over in a hotel locally as it's easier than trying to get home (and not much more expensive). We'll pop out this afternoon for a meal somewhere (lots of choice). I have a couple of 'restaurant' vouchers for a grand total of £50 so that will take the sting out of it.

Not currently feeling it with a stinky head cold as it's taken all morning to feel slightly human again.

I'm heading to Manchester on Friday for Big Special at New Century Hall.
That will be followed over the next five months by further trips up to the Academy 2 (Bar Italia), twice to Aviva Studios (Big Thief & Agnes Obel) and also the fantastic Albert Hall (Aldous Harding).

Not as much sunshine as hoped for due to the early morning cloud and a constant stream of individual clouds scudding through, but I wasn't going to waste the dry AND bright day so have been out for a little over three hours in total, thoroughly enjoying every minute despite the cold feel to the day. Loads of people obviously felt the same need to get out in the sunshine as most of the seafront area of Felixstowe was packed this morning.

Today's total of 11kWh generated by the solar panels is one fifth of the total of 55kWh generated so far for the whole month!

Same with a lot of their stuff

Order it on line as a click and collect and they will happily hand it to you in store, totally crazy and surely must cost them more in staff time. Maybe thats why often theres no staff to be seen, they are all sorting out click & collect orders.

Number of Nakd bar packs purchased today increased from 2 to 6. Had £5 worth of Holland & Barratt points to use up this weekend and their really wasn't anything else in store to use the points up on.

I had that with Halfrauds a while ago.. When I mentioned it, the helpful lass serving me did some jiggery-pokery on the tills and ordered it for me online/click & collect so I got it at the cheaper price 😊
