Morning.
It is raining here and it looks like we have had quite a bit by the size of the puddles. It is over halfway through the month and I have done 11 miles, 55 for this year. By the way things are going it looks like I will set an all time record.

I have been downstairs to make drinks and to feed Georgie. I gave him mousey to play with, after batting it around for a while and then gave it a good thumping with his back legs. He then dropped it into his water bowl and fished it back out. He does a similar thing to a plastic frog by our pond. We wondered how it ended up floating around in the pond. The little bu99er pushes it in!

Just had a thought, today is 55 years since D-Day. No, not that D-Day, but 55 years since Decimalisation became the official currency of the UK!

I'm one of the generation who was told at school "all that stuff we've been teaching you L-S-D and Lb-Oz forget that we've gone decimal now" I also remember my pocket money taking a massive hit in buying power..........these things were very important to a nearly 9 year old.

I was due to buy a new phone at Argos today , but i had an email this morning from Motorola advising me that the same phone was £40 cheaper so i ordered it direct from Motorola and it should arrive in 2-3 days

Woke up with toothache,well it has been around for just short of three weeks.I was downstairs topping up on painkillers at 02-45 this morning.Luckily i have a 16-00 appointment today for an extraction via emergency dentist.just over £27 worth every penny.I did have a dentist but because i did not go during covid or after covid restrictions were lifted,i got deleted,wtf.So it's 111 from now on.Only thing is you only get relief from pain treatment.For anything else you have to find a dentist NHS dentist,good luck with that.
