It's been a chilly, raw but mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept well. Got all the choresy stuff out of the way in what was otherwise a fairly quiet morning.
Had a lovely luncheon of a brie & cranberry ciabatta roll toastie, an apple, a tangerine (I won the game of Schrodinger' s Pip by a score of 5-0), and a
Did some firewood this afternoon. Found some stuff outside that was dry enough to cut up into logs and did so, but the remaining stuff that's immediately to hand is irredeemably both soaked and saturated. Ho hum.
Had a lovely girly pamper session.
And then yeah, I made pancakes, and we shovelled a fair number of them down the hatch, some with chocolate spread, and others in the (Belgian) tradition of butter & brown sugar.
Now plan on having a quiet evening writing and catching up on some action from Milan-Cortina.
Oh yes, and Happy Lunar New Year. Xinnian hao! Gong xi fa cai!

Why settle on just the one?
No spanners were found on my perambulation this morning. I can add my 13mm to the 17mm I found about three years ago. I wonder how long it will take to collect a full set!
I got a twenty mile ride in after work. Pretty windy, very cold, but at least it's dry. I got pelted with grit from the gritter lorry.
