Not only did I put my feet up this afternoon, but my head down and had almost three quarters of an hour's worth of solid snoozing flat out on the sofa.
As I'm on the slightly earlier train than normal out on Friday, an earlyish night will be had later. Hot chocolate first, obviously.

A grey, raw day here chez Casa Reynard, with the occasional dose of drizzle.
Did not sleep well - not my back or leg this time, but backed up sinuses (thank you, tree pollen) making my teeth and face feel like I'd been kicked by a horse. Had to get up for painkillers, and tried to sleep with my face mashed into a hot water bottle. As a result, I've been tired, cold and grumpy. Still, did all the chores as per usual, because if I don't do them, they won't get done. Been a right grumpy bag today.
Lovely luncheon of sourdough bread, brie and cranberry sauce, plus an apple, a tangerine and a
Topped up all the firewood in the house after, then made a big pot of soup before settling down to watch the evening's curling. Wow, what a match!
Equally lovely supper of carrot & red lentil dhal soup, then cold cuts (turkey), home made potato wedges and steamed broccoli.
On the upsides, I received a very interesting piece for my archive, that was provided to me by a third party on the condition of anonymity. Of course, it screws the context if I don't know the original source, but I'd rather have this info than not.
