A grey, raw day here chez Casa Reynard, with the occasional dose of drizzle.
Did not sleep well - not my back or leg this time, but backed up sinuses (thank you, tree pollen) making my teeth and face feel like I'd been kicked by a horse. Had to get up for painkillers, and tried to sleep with my face mashed into a hot water bottle. As a result, I've been tired, cold and grumpy. Still, did all the chores as per usual, because if I don't do them, they won't get done. Been a right grumpy bag today.

Topped up all the firewood in the house after, then made a big pot of soup before settling down to watch the evening's curling. Wow, what a match!
Equally lovely supper of carrot & red lentil dhal soup, then cold cuts (turkey), home made potato wedges and steamed broccoli.
On the upsides, I received a very interesting piece for my archive, that was provided to me by a third party on the condition of anonymity. Of course, it screws the context if I don't know the original source, but I'd rather have this info than not.
