Morning.
It is wet here. Georgie came in for breakfast soaking wet, he let me towel him dry a bit before he had his food. Afterwards we had a game of pass the mouse, he would bat it to me and I would bat it back. Every now and then he would stop and stretch out to see if I was watching.

Good morning from Suffolk and guess what - we've had more rain and it's another cloudy, breezy & miserable start to the day. For the first morning this year the temperature sensor in the back garden is showing two digits before the decimal point.

Coffee has been had and the overnight bag is by the front door ready for today's train, bus, train & train trip up to Leeds to see Sorry at the Brudenell. At the moment this is the only visit there I've got planned for the whole year. Would it be tempting fate to remove the waterproof jacket from the bag and leave it at home?

I've also taken a punt on the weather forecast for mid-week being correct (not cold & wet) and purchased yet more train tickets for a day out with the bike and will get them printed out at the local station while waiting for the outbound train this morning.

Rough night. This lurgy isn't shifting - just not risking it sitting on my lungs so the bike can wait - see how I feel for Tuesday's commute.

Going to potter in the garden in a bit, clean the commuter bike, and then got to trace an oil leak on my brother's Kuga before he takes it into the garage. He's had a few wear and tear items this year, mainly issues with the cooling, seized calliper. It's the family bus and isn't particularly looked after, other than an annual service. He got in my van a couple of weeks ago with his son, and went 'oh this is rather clean, good job Thomas has had his croissant earlier'.

At least if I can pin point where it's coming from, it helps the garage. That said, if it's been there a while, it will have blown oil all over making it difficult to fine.

Was sunny, now cloudy with a glimpse of the sun, and a strong chilly wind. Washing hung out.
