Morning.
Grey and wet here. Not sure if it is raining at the moment.
I have calmed down after yesterday's ride. I took my Orbit Gold Medal as it has mudguards and is a bit sturdier than my other bikes. It coped well despite weighing a ton with tools in the rear carrier. I was carrying 3 cycle locks in case peeps needed to lock their bikes up.
I was surprised by how well the bike rode as the last time I rode it I struggled. I must have been under the weather last time.

Good morning from a ground floor hotel room in Newcastle where I'd have a lovely view of the river if the courthouse wasn't in the way. Dry but overcast outside.

A large and leisurely cooked breakfast has been had and I've got about 15 minutes rest before I'm off to the train station for the long haul home.

Simple task today; two bikes - the Carrera Vengeance magnesium and the Giant MTB with a steering wheel - are off into bike storage I have elsewhere as the Carrera's (hopefully) not needed until next winter and I could do with the space. My decision is to keep it rather than break / sell the bike as it's proved useful.

Then to work where I'm waiting for attendees at a student drop-in: I'm on time today and on my lonesome.

Asda app suddenly had yet another £5 off £35 voucher. Use made twix coffees, a tablet support, a box of lawn patch fix and garden gloves immediately excededing half the necessary purchase price.

Late morning Co-op trek was undertaken. The paths were busy, obviously people getting a walk in whilst in was dry. App vouchers used on a TV guide and a large tin of Kenco coffee which in any case cheaper there than elsewhere.
Rain finally turned up this afternoon as I driving between the large Lidl and equally big Aldi at Knaresborough. Neithers huge special buy sections offered anything tempting and I was bemused at Lidl still trying to sell Valentines Day cards.
On the return called into Waitrose to use £1.50 worth of app vouchers on hake and yellow label scones.
